HAPPY NEW YEAR TO ALL MY FRIENDS AND THE REST AS WELL

Well that sigh of relief i am always on about was breathed today,as its technically the end of the holidays.Christmas and New Year have come and gone for the 53rd or 54th time in my life(not sure what one it is) and it sort of begs the question how many more? We had a busy time of it this year catering for about 700 booked lunches and dinners.The feedback was good ans as far as we are aware there was no real complaints.We found most people had their food and went home or somewhere else to drink because only a couple of groups got in the mood.We had an excellent New year with a great crowd and great food.The chefs put on an amazing buffet.
All the talk on the news and in the papers is of Catastrophe and the end of the World.I really wish they were not so negative all the time,i know its news but there must be some light at the end of the tunnel,the only bugbear i have with this whole business is the people at fault do not pay the price.They get bailed out by governments because we cannot be without banks.If i had my time to live over again i would be in banking,lose your trousers and the government buys you a new pair.I have no doubt people in middle management will lose their jobs but its the people right at the top should go,but they wont.
