BACK AT THE RANCH

Not long back from a marathon 5 day trip to La Manga Spain.Played golf four days on the trot and by the end of it i dont want see another golf course for a week.It was hard going,the wind was fierce and the drinking even fiercer.Well when you meet up with guys you havent seen for twenty years in some cases,you are going to socialise,it would be rude not to.The punters who play in the event are great people,and almost all of them play year in year out.There are scots,geordies,midlanders,welshmen,irishmen,cockneys,west country boys,suffolk and norfolk were also represented as a matter of fact i would say every county were represented and all of them i met were lovely people.I finshed in mid table,and though i played ok on two days the middle day i had a shocker.Somebody said there was something in the papers about Andy Gray,all i can say about that is i never saw anything inappropriate at all from anyone,as there are pretty strict dos and donts,and its probably the Sun trying to make a story out of season when nothing is happening for their readers who like that sort of thing and it does not really matter to them whether it happened or not.Enough said.Suffice to say i had a great time and though i feel drained now,i would definitely do it again.
