THE TROUBLE WITH GETTING OLDER

My friends have started to die at rather an alarming rate.As most of you who bother to read this occasionally will know i am 53 years old,tho my friends who died were 57,70 and 77.All were men who lived their lives though none were ready to leave just yet.Two of them died over the Christmas period and i like to think they will both be in the after life picking Cheltenham winners,or arguing about football. Most of the men who i have as close friends are sporting men,and its what i will miss most about Michael,George and Cyril. All had the bug passed down from generation to generation of being lovers of horses, especially the jumping kind.Cheltenham is just round the corner and in years gone by i have had the time of my life many times over and laughed so much with those men,i will miss them all.I suppose thinking about it i could have been with them if i had not taken myself to the Hospital a year and a half ago.I saw an ad last night about stroke attacks and it was frightening.
On now to happier times, trade is not too bad for the time of the year, though we are doing a set menu at 6.95 for one and 10 pounds for two.Needless to say great food and great value.Valentines this saturday and if you want to come hurry up and book tables are filling up.Right i am going downstairs to see how things are
