ANOTHER WEEK HAS PASSED

The only trouble with that is they go so quickly. When i were a lad and i was looking forward to something,it took forever to arrive, nowadays its there and gone in the blink of an eye.I love celebrations,of all sorts whether it be a wedding,a birthday,a going away do,a day at the races, even a good funeral, where the life of the person who died is celebrated. When your days are flying by as i have already said i recommend you find what you can to celebrate before its too late, and we will be celebrating your demise.
Speaking of celebrations, last week was Glastonbury 2007,the wettest in history i would say.Saw my daughter on tv dancin in a very wet field, she had a great time with her friends. The music is always the best and there is so much goes on there that never makes the tv.i have it in my diary of things to do before i die, glad i didnt go this year or i probably would have died, but i follow it on tv.
Following on from his Glastonbury gig Rufus Wainright was in the Dome in Brighton on Sunday night.I am a huge fan of Rufus, and he did not disappoint a full house at the Dome.I was actually quite surprised at the crowd,i expected your militant gay types, but on the whole the crowd was very mixed. He was frankly superb, and i have never seen a brighton crowd react how they did,now i accept the "brighton factor" but i dont fit in with that crew and i reacted the same way.
Well i suppose that enough of that for now Johnny has arrived and we are going to have coffee and talk about the past week.
