Wimbledon Final,what a match

Now thats what i call a classic sporting encounter.Even if you dont like tennis that much, you cannot fail to have been moved by yesterdays Wimbledon Final. For years its been a bit boring and not too competetive,Sampras was in control for years and gave no one else a hope, and then along came Federer and took his crown, and to be honest has not had a decent challenger in four years, but yesterday along came his greatest challenge yet in the form of Rafael Nadal,a 21 year old Spaniard, and what a challenge he put up.In saying that, what a champion Federer is.The presssure on him was immense,Bjorn Borg was there to watch him try to emulate his five in a row and boy did he stand up and be counted,he was simply immense, but the young Spaniard pushed him to his limits.Roger Federer joined the true sporting legends yesterday, because of his achievements in sport,a welcome change from the hugely over rated and over paid people in all sports these days.
In the last month it has rained so much that my newly planted flowers are almost ruined, have you ever seen anyhing like it,though its not the first time this has happened. In June 1987 i had been at the Witch about four months when we suffered terrible floods just like what happening up north, then in November of that year we had a hurricane,so beware.Nothing else untoward has happened i dont think,so i will get off now, have to go on duty this week,Alice and Ruth are on holiday
