Christmas and New Year at The Witch

I used to hate them both in equal measures.Well i didnt hate them as such i hated trying to organise all of it so it all went off with no bother and everyone enjoyed it all.I wasnt that put out about myself but invariably i did end up enjoying most of it.Although i do remember some times when i despaired.One particular year a group of young Rugby guys and a group of young Footballers decided to have an organised fight in the Witch one New Years Eve.That for me was one of the worst times.Luckily there did not turn out to be that much bother thanks to a couple of good friends who kept the peace,but i ended up running up the road after somebody in my wee willie winkie outfit which on the face of it must have been funny for anyone walking their dog at one o clock in the morning.I got away without any trouble on almost every occasion with the best ones being with ROCOL in the latter years.This year over New Year we have a highly recommended duo from Brighton called THE PIXYLIX so we are all looking forward to a great night with great food and great music.The price of the ticket is £25 and for that you get food,music,ambience and great company.Gotta go now it sounds busy downstairs gonna have a few glasses of vino rosso.
