Champios League Cup Final Night

Tonight is the culmination of the toughest cup in the world to win,and whether it be Liverpool or AC MILAN they will have thoroughly deserved it.Liverpool have overcome Chelsea and Barcelona among others but AC MILAN have overcome Man Utd and Bayern Munich on their path to the final,so whoever wins will have deseved it.I feel a bit sorry for all the fans who will be in Athens tonight with no hope of a ticket, thats the way football has gone these days there will be maybe 25,000 people there tonight because they have the money and they know the right people, and there will be maybe 40,000 Milan and Liverpool fans will be outside because they cannot get tickets. At least they are in a nice place being looked after by very nice people too and hopefully this game will be half as exciting as the last time they met. That will do nicely. The less said about the cup final the better,it was crap, full stop. Both teams were technically gifted, but unfortunately cancelled each other out, except for one moment of extreme brilliance from Drogba. In saying that Giggs will be kicking himself for his open goal miss. All football today, except to say once again if you want food this weekend the witch will be serving as per usual friday,Sat all the time from 12 thru 9.30 on Sunday from 12 thru 8.00 and Monday from 12 thru 8

BEEN A BIT BUSY AND A BIT LAZY TOO

Sorry to you regulars, who will come on here to have your day brightened up and what do you get???a whole lot of nothing.Lots of things are happening in the background, like the application to extend the kitchen is in,now we got to wait for planning permission, and god only knows how long that can take, which makes booking a builder really difficult, because if he is any good he will have lots of people wanting him,and when you dont know how long the pp will take you can see my difficulty.Went to London yesterday to have dinner with my daughter and her flat mate,we had thai,it was nice, also it was Darragh my sons birthday,he was 27 i can hardly believe that,i can still remember that cute little kid running round the garden with his mates, who incidentally are still his mates now and who were in Cork last weekend to celebrate his birthday and watch him play and win, which was nice too.Mitch told me he played a solid game.
Business wise the tree is still growing,we get slightly more organised all the time which we have to,because more and more people are coming, like i said before the weather has a big influence on how busy we can be.Its a constant challenge and i really like it,though i think i can be a bit grumpy looking myself and my demeanour could maybe do with a makeover, but i mean well.I heard something the other day which Gordon Ramsay said, which i found extremely arrogant, but anyway thats only my opinion. He said veggies were not allowed in his restaurants,or something similar, now i am not a veggie but i certainly think that there is a place for good vegetarian food on every menu, and i think that is almost a racist thing to say, imagine coming along to one of Mr Ramsays many restaurants and being told you could not come in unless you agreed to eat meat, or fish.Mr Ramsay is a very clever man and can do no wrong at the minute, every time you switch on the tv he is doing an ad or a series or attending a charity ball or awards, makes you wonder when he actually does chef in his own restaurants,if ever i suppose these days.He must have an extremely busy life.So moving on to real life we once again are approaching a ban holiday weekend, the third in a series. We will NOT be having Rocol for reasons i have already stated,Ian,the piano man will be here on Sunday night for some light entertainment.Otherwise we are doing things a little differently,we are going through the day saturday, sunday till 9 and bank holiday monday till 9 with the food, its something i have wanted to do for a while and now with the three chefs its possible.
