Not so long this time

You would be amazed at the people who read this,a woman came up to me the other day and said she read my blogs and they were funny,fame at last,i was wasted chasin that bag of wind round and round,could have made my fortune with the pen,i dont think.Still,i enjoy messin about,commenting on all things sporty,and even the odd political comment tho that would be pretty rare coz those guys are just not my type and they are all pretty dull.I never trusted anyone who toes the party line,life is about opinions and if your opinion is not your own that makes you a hypocrite in my book.There ye go that was political,of a sort.Had such an unbelievably busy week,this £10 menu is working the oracle,we were full up tonight.I know she wont read this but if anyone knows or sees Michelle Taylor from Taylors Restaurant in Burgess Hill give her a big hug from me because this was her idea,and its just amazing and it has given us a few ideas of our own.She is a bright girl that Michelle and needs congrulating.Gettin sleepy again,got a big weekend comin up,seeing my boy and a few lads i havent seen in 20 years so it should be exciting,will tell all when i return,sayonara,thats japanese for au revoir,or is it auf wiedersomething,anyway goodbye.

ALL SETTLED DOWN AGAIN NOW

After the excitement of last weekend,phewee,now the heart is back to normal.You may have noticed that i am writing this in the proper way,this is because somebody said to me it annoyed him that i did it in capitals all the time.Now how small minded is that,so if any of you guys cant read this be sure to complain and i will go back to big letters again coz i can hardly see these.The mid sussex times menu is going like a train,we are busy when we were never busy,so much so that i am seriously thinking of introducing a monday madness menu when this promotion finishes,so watch this space.Oh and while i remember it if you want to watch england get beaten by israel on Saturday night dont come to the Witch because we have not got it on i am afraid,its only on sky sports and as you guys will know who frequent here we no longer have that,and its on nowhere else either.Just to keep you all up to date with happy families,Naoise had an interview today with a womans magazine,Take a Break i think it was called and she is going in tomorrow for a closer look,so if they like her and she likes them its game on,i tink.Daz was man of the match last week as you will all know by now and Ma Ryan has just text me that they have just won 4-0 which is good news coz they have started scoring goals at last.Its Tuesday night and i am tired,listening to Bob Seger and his Silver Bullet band,fantastic stuff.This weekend i am off for a weekend in the home sod,going to a big dinner,watchin ireland play football,probably cricket,and sink some of the black stuff,be back here sunday morning so yiz better all behave or i will get to hear about it.Will try and do this more often but sometimes i just forget.

WHAT A STRANGE PADDIES DAY

ST PATRICKS DAY 2007 WAS ONE OF THE STRANGEST ONES EVER? WHY YOU ASK?WELL FOR A START WE THOUGHT WE HAD A CHANCE OF WINNING THE SIX NATIONS RUGBY CHAMPIONSHIP,AND WE GAVE OURSELVES AN EVEN BETTER CHANCE BY PLAYING BRILLIANTLY AGAINST ITALY AND BEATING THEM PRETY COMPREHENSIVELY,ALTHOUGH WE STUPIDLY GAVE AWAY A TRY IN THE LAST MINUTE WHILE TRYING TO GET ONE OURSELVES,AND AS IT TRANSPIRED,IT COST US THE TITLE.HOWEVER ALL WAS NOT LOST AND SALVATION CAME IN THE SHAPE OF IRELANDS CRICKET TEAM,YES YOU HEARD RIGHT IRELAND HAVE A CRICKET TEAM,AS WE DISCOVERED THE OTHER DAY WHEN THEY TIED WITH ZIMBABWE,WHICH IN ITSELF WE THOUGHT WAS PRETTY GOOD,BUT YESTERDAY WE BEAT PAKISTAN,CAN YOU BELIEVE THAT,PAKISTAN.THEY ARE NOW OUT AND WE SHOULD GO THROUGH TO THE LATTER STAGES OF THE WORLD CUP OF CRICKET.NOW I COULDNT NAME YOU MORE THAN A COUPLE OF OUR PLAYERS NEVER MIND WHERE THEY ARE FROM BUT SURE WHO CARES WHERE THEY ARE FROM,THE BLARNEY ARMY CERTAINLY WONT MIND THAT,AND LETS BE HONEST HERE HOW ENGLISH IS KEVIN PIETERSEN,GARETH JONES,ANDREW STRAUSS,ALAN LAMB,ROBIN SMITH,GRAHAM HICK,ANDY CADDICK AND OF COURSE OUR OWN ED JOYCE,NEED I GO ON,I REST MY CASE.
LAST NIGHT WE CELEBRATED THE OUL SAINTS DAY IN TRADITIONAL STYLE WITH SONGS AND STORIES AND A FAIR AMOUNT OF BULL,BUT IT WAS GREAT CRACK,AND TODAY WE HAD MOTHERS DAY WHICH WENT OFF QUITE WELL I THINK WITH ALL THE MOTHERS SEEMINGLY HAPPY,AND NO TROUBLE FROM ANY OF THEM.GONNA SIGN OFF NOW,FEELIN A BIT TIRED AND NEED TO REST.
