BOOKINGS,NOT THE FOOTBALL SORT

The web is starting to weald its power.We have now had three bookings online which gave me a little thrill,yes i know sad isnt it what gives you thrills.Got a new girl starting on monday,her name is phoebe and she is one of my daughters best friends.Feebs is training to be a mid wife so be nice to her because at some stage in the future she will be delivering your babies.Speaking of babies,a big hello to Chris and Fiona who are expecting their first baby round about christmas day.
Going to be running a coach trip to the races soon,somewhere like Ascot or Sandown,for the jumping season.And also i will be starting a golf society,probably hand pick a few guys and go for a game and pick it up from there.Thats all for now folks probably see yawl tomorow

DILEMNA,DILEMNA

Watching football is a tough business,and it doesnt get any tougher than this sunday.Anyone who follows football will realise that we have some big games on the tv.I have decided to be fair to my football clientele we here at the witch are going to watch CHELSEA V LIVERPOOL,following straight on from that,MAN CITY V BLACKBURN then the second half of the MAN UTD V ARSENAL game.I am trying to be fair to everyone and as president of the man city mid sussex blues,they have my allegiance.I am also a closet Arsenal fan so you see where my dilemna comes from.I am posting this on here because i want people to know.
On a separate issue,i am talking to my good friend mal mortimore about doing a cajun type thing here in october or november with his band,the lead singer of which is Chris Jagger,who has a well known brother,forgotten who he plays with !!!! thats all folks

Discovering what this does???

Today i was going to try to upload some images,just for the hell of it,and to see if i can do it.So if nothing appears on here i have failed for the moment,but i will not fail for long and very soon i shall have photos of you my customers and you the reader,plus interesting items i find on the web.Today we are going to update the menu again with some new dishes,and some new ideas,this we do on a regular basis to keep peoples interest who dine on a regular basis.Just had a call from paul the web guy who will tell me tomorrow how to upload images,so for those of you sitting on the edge of your seat,you can relax back into it till then.Watched the gunners win last night,they played ever so well,i am going to say here and now that that is the team of the future.They have so many great young players,and a few older ones too.Remember where you heard it folks.Must go now dont want to bore you,so i will say au revoir

TICKING ALONG

Its wed afternoon and we have just finished serving our first organised business lunch.All went well and everyone was happy.Lots of positive things are happening and we are getting lots of positive feedback,all of which is very good for moral.Over the next couple of weeks i will be organising a couple of different schemes to increase traffic through the pub,particularly lunchtimes.One such scheme will involve Loz and Emma two of the prettiest and nicest girls you could possibly meet.They will be on the Broadway distributing vouchers one day and outside Haywards Heath railway station on another day .We hope to keep pushing up the numbers who come through here,because we feel we have a good product and that most people will return.
On a personal note i have a couple of people i want to send my best wishes to both for different reasons.My sister Anjie will be having a very serious operation on the 27th sept and i want to send her all my love,another sister Frances will be getting married on Oct 6th and i want to send her my heartiest congrats,its about time too.

WEB SITE LAUNCH PARTY

Well its finally happened,we are back online,a little older,a little wiser and a little less cotroversial than we used to be.But life goes on and now we do things a little differently than we did.Food and family are the main focus of things now,and the website reflects that.On saturday night we had the web site launch party,with an eclectic mix of people,a good night was had by all,with an excellent buffet provided by JEZ AND JOHN the two chefs.A big thank you must go to Paul Mildon from Lizard DC the people who provided the site.And finally in the thanks stakes i must thank Ian Sillet who put on a great show. I will be advertising upcoming events on this page so keep your eyes on it
