GRAND NATIONAL DAY 2007

Its always an exciting day for me this one,goes way back to my childhood when the whole family would gather round the black and white tv and watch the greateast race in the world.Nicolas Silver was my first memory,in 1961 and since then without fail i watch it every year and still get the same excitement,i remember all my winners from TEAM SPIRIT in the early sixties to HEDGEHUNTER a couple of years ago.Twelve times in all i have found the winner of this great race,maybe i am very lucky but a little bit of luck is required to win any great sporting occasion.This year i have spread my bets over a few horses,all decent prices.BILLYVODDEN,SIMON,ROYAL AUCLAIR AND GRAPHIC APPROACH will carry my hopes this year,but above my prospective winnings which incidentally will not change my life,i wish for all the jockeys and horses to come back safe.
On a business front all is good at the moment,trade has continued on the up since Easter with great weather helping no end.This weekend its Alex Miles birthday,and i would like to wish Alex a very Happy Birthday,and hope you enjoy your evening.

THE LAPTOP IS BACK,AGAIN

Finally,i am online and active again.This laptop has never worked right,so now hopefully it will work properly.Been down in Eastbourne for a few days r and r,never been to eastbourne before,i really enjoyed my stay there,stayed in a beautiful hotel,and went to one or two beautiful restaurants,went on a couple of nice walks along the seafront,but i have to say its a very strange town,loads of very old people and younger druggie sorts.A very strange combination of people.Then at holiday times the place is engulfed with northern people on sticks,but i still had a good time.
Last weekend Zach Johnson won the Masters Golf which was a huge shock because rookies do not win the Masters,it does not happen,ever..Manu,Liverpool and Chelsea are in the semi finals of the European Cup,ensuring a mammoth night in May,could be an all English final for the first time ever.This weekend we have the Grand National and my 2 against the field are Billyvodden and Simon.So thats about it for now,will be back very very soon to keep you all up to date with the latest news,and what is happening on the streets of Lindfield.
