NOW THERES SOMETHING I DIDNT KNOW

Blogger is seven years old today,now i am not sure if that is blogging itself or the site blogger.Anyway thought i would share that one with you. If you are into jazz we got something you might be interested in on Sat 19th May,when the Natalie Page trio will be here to play at the Party for Mel and Richard.Take it from me even if you dont like jazz believe me Natalie is stunning and she can sing too.On something completely different,there is an add in the Citizen this week which is not right in its entirety.It should read 2 course LUNCH £7.95 and 3 course DINNER £12.95 NOT AS IT SAYS AND ALSO YOU HAVE TO BOOK.
The nice weather seems to have deserted us for the moment with more seasonal wind and rain this week tho they are predicting sunshine this weekend,lets hope so.Not that much happening in the way of sport this weekend as Chelsea sort of petered out after a great struggle all season,culminating in a damp squib of a game with Man utd the other night.Gotta go now get ready for Wisdom sports dinner tonight,after sponsoring them for years and years i have never been to the dinner dance so me and teresa are going tonight.

Why does one do these blogs?

Difficult question that but in my case i discovered blogging about 5 years ago i guess in my previous life as a very different type of operator,i call myself an operator because i dont think i fit the bill of your old syle landlord,what with my flip flops and shorts and cool tee shirts,ok so my daughter buys the cool ones the rest are presents.But while i operated the previous place there was a need to connect with the kids and i did it by blogging,and of course the messageboard.I could post pictures and just about everyone who was anyone was made famous on the world wide web by me.There was some great nights and i wrote about them all,and took lots of photos,i had lots of fun but like all good things it had to come to an end.I would have ended it sooner but i was stopped by a legal battle which i waged for 6 years with my brother in law,and finally after all that time emerged victorious but wounded,and it has taken me a few years to get back on my feet,he will never know unless he reads this how close he came to breaking me,but justice prevailed in the end.Anyway i finally started what i had wanted to for years almost two years ago now,and tho it hasnt all been plain sailing by any means we are going places.

NOT SURE WHAT HAPPENED TO MY BLOG

I did a blog tis morning but it seems to have disappeared,so i will just give you the gist of it.John Scillito came back from his travels today,and i welcomed him back with open arms,Jez,John and Adam are the kitchen dream team in my quest for global dominaton.The next step is a bigger kitchen,the plans are in,and when the smoking ban comes in we will effectively have a bigger restaurant.As i have said before things are not perfect yet and maybe they never will be but we will be striving to make it as close as we can.I know from my own point of view i am learning all the time.This weekend has been satisfactory without pulling up any trees but the weather was poor so that goes hand in hand with the trade.Gotta go now its late i am very tired and sleepy and need my bed.
